Praise and worship

On Sunday the 7th of October 2012 I shared psalm 150 before we began worshiping in church.

Praise the Lord,

Praise God in his sanctuary

Praise him in his mighty heavens

Praise him for his mighty deeds

Praise him according to his excellent greatness

Praise him with trumpet sound

Praise him with lute and harp

Praise him with tambourine and dance

Praise him with strings and pipe

Praise him with sounding cymbals

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord

Praise the Lord.

My deepest thought here was that we must step out in praise and worship of God not just on Sundays, but for us to make our very lives every day about worshiping God in everything we do.

It gladdens my heart to do so, I feel greatly blessed to be able to facilitate the worship on Sunday mornings in church and for home group on Wednesdays. I truly believe that God wants us to tear down strongholds and move on into a new thing that he is calling us to do in worship to him.

God wants a people who will break forth with joy in our worship and sing our hearts out but also that we make our lives full of worshiping him, I am a big believer in following the holy spirit, and for us to let Jesus be our worship leader, when we follow his leading amazing things happen.

We as people try too hard  to control things and to construct ways of doing things, but God wants us to follow his leading in our everything. To that end we must all be concious of Gods spirit moving in us, so we follow him, The Psalms are a great place to look for how our worship should be, it is often the place I start looking when I just want to sing. be blessed and follow Jesus, God bless, Jez
